Faces Of Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Faces seen around Bhaktapur Durbar Square
A song "The Story" by Brandi Carlile written by Phil Hanseroth tells "All of these lines across my face, tell you the story of who I am. So many stories of where I've been and how I got to where I am". Therefore faces reflect the society, faces say many things that can't be expressed by words. I have tried to grab some faces around world's most touristic place in Bhaktapur. Nepal in general is known to world for its humbleness, generosity, politeness and welcoming nature. I believe my pictures will tell you some untold stories hidden behind these faces.
It is so beautiful that people specially around Kathmandu Valley that in almost every small small villages there are these kind of spaces. In these kind of spaces old and young people gather, have a nice talk and share about their lives. These kind of common public spaces break the hierarchy. I just loved how these people smiled and shared their life with each other.
Beautiful path going towards Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
A lonely man in another public space.
